For the last International Competition of the 2013 season, the world's best specialists in the discipline of accuracy landing were all gathered at the amazing place Skydive Dubaï.

Thomas wins the 4th Dubai International Championship (4th DIPC), with a score of 2cm on 10 jumps.

He thus established the new Individual World Record Individuel de Précision d’Atterrissage (03 cm précédemment), qu’il détient toujours en 2024.

    Accuracy Landing

    • Size of electronic Target : 16cm (0,5ft)
    • Size of the center of the target : 2cm (0,06ft)

    Accuracy Landing is practiced when the parachute is open, in Individual and Team competition. The principle is to land on a target whose center measures 2 cm. The 32 cm diameter electronic target is made up of sensors that measure and record the performance in cm. A competition takes place over 10 rounds. The winner is the athlete with the lowest score in cm (cumulative jumps). It is the most practiced parachuting discipline in competition.

    • Freefall Max Speed : 350 - 400km/h
    • World Chrono reference : between 6 and 7 sec

    Style is considered the sprint of Skydiving. This individual discipline is done in free fall. The principle is to take a maximum of speed and to chain a series of figures as quickly as possible (speeds can exceed 400km/h). The jumps are filmed using a ground video equipped with a powerful zoom lens. The performances are recorded then judged and timed on the ground at the end of the jump. A competition consists of 5 rounds.
